Guitarist Mario Diaz will perform a benefit concert for Shalom Prayer Center Friday, July 22, 7 p.m. in the Benedictine Sisters’ Queen of Angels Monastery Chapel.
An award-winning guitarist, Diaz has made a name for himself as a rising talent in the Northwest. He has performed in venues in the Portland area, including a six-year stint at El Gaucho. This will be one of his last appearances locally, as he will be starting in the Masters’ program at the San Francisco Conservatory in August.
Tickets are available in advance for $10 and at the door for $15. A hosted reception in Agatha Hall will follow the concert.
