By Jim Kinghorn

Hey, all of you duffers, former central Oregon golf pro Dick Mason has opened a small pro shop inside of Mayberry’s on North Water Street. He has a nice selection of clothing, accessories, balls and I bet he would be glad to set you up with a new or re-conditioned club for your wife to chase you down the driveway with.

Scotts Millians Dave and Betty Lowman report that a convoy of vintage Fords recently paid a visit to the Scotts Mills Historical Museum and treated the residents to an impromptu parade. A local resident was heard to comment, “it looked like the Mob was coming to town!” The Man also heard unconfirmed reports of someone yelling “Eat lead, you coppers” as they roared off toward Mount Angel … probably to hold up the local savings and loan….

See you on the street………
