Silver Falls Soccer Club updates


Soccer club posts high school tryout dates

High school tryouts for U15 and U18 boys and girls teams are planned by the Silver Falls Soccer Club.

Tryouts cost $25 and will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, and from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at Mark Twain Middle School in Silverton.

Practices start the second week in December. Winter league runs from December to April 2010 and includes the President’s Cup. Cost for Winter League is $350.

If players wish to train in the spring and winter months as well as play winter league, the cost is $515, which includes winter play, President’s Cup, two other tournaments and training through July 2010.

Silver Falls Soccer Club plans futsal camp

Silver Falls Soccer Club will hold a futsal camp during the evenings of Nov. 30, Dec. 1, 2 and 3 at Pratum Gym.

Cost for the camp is $40 and time is to be determined. For more information, contact Steve Sidwell at 503-428-8578 or by e-mail at [email protected].

SFSC will hold a futsal kickaround on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, at the old Silverton High School campus on Schlador street. The kickaround is open to anyone who’d like to play.

Additionally, SFSC will hold a futsal tournament on Saturday, Jan. 2, at the old high school. For more information, contact Sidwell.
