Every vote counts: Silverton Skatepark grant at stake

The “Build a Skatepark for Youth and Families in Silverton, Oregon” project has been accepted as an entrant in the Pepsi Refresh campaign. It’s a chance to receive a $50,000 grant.  Now Internet votes are needed to make it the number one choice for the month of July.

The Silverton Skatepark is envisioned as part of a community park that will neighbor the Silverton Senior Center on Westfield Street its the juncture with the Cascade Highway.

In order to vote, go to refresheverything.com/silvertonskatepark and click on sign in.  Once you are registered you can vote up to five times each day for the project. Votes do not roll over to the next day, so for maximum impact supporters must remember to vote five times each day through 11:59 p.m. July 31.

At the end of the voting period, the project with the highest number of votes will be deemed an eligible grant recipient.
