The Forum: Volunteers help out at Saalfeld house

On behalf of the city of Mount Angel, I want to thank all of the volunteers who have helped over at the Saalfeld House in the last couple of months including the Grants, the Mount Angel Fire District, Pete Wall, Mount Angel City Councilors Kelly Grassman and Teresa Kintz, Patty Eder, Jan Donohue, Marla Boen and Cindy Schiedler.  They’ve been landscaping, painting and cleaning and we appreciate their efforts to make that area usable for the whole community. A big thanks also goes to Bochsler’s Hardware who donated the paint.

– Mayor Rick Schiedler

For as long as I have known a few of the unpleasant players in this civic horror story they have found ways to create doubt and distrust of anyone in public focus, calling almost everyone a crook on the take. Well, honestly, how much “Take” can there be really from SACA, Silverton Together or being a city councilor?
