Vitis Ridge collects food for SACA

When packing a picnic lunch or snacks for your visit to Vitis Ridge winery in Silverton, make sure to bring along some canned or non-perishable food too.

Throughout May, the owners of Vitis Ridge are holding a food drive to benefit Silverton Area Community Aid, the nonprofit food bank in Silverton.

Visitors are encouraged to leave a few cans of food, instead of a tip when visiting Vitis Ridge. Any tips left during May will be donated to SACA.

Vitis Ridge is open Memorial Day Weekend from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 23-25. There will be live music daily  1 to 5 p.m. by Kit Garoutte and complimentary hors d’oeuvres. Vitis Ridge is at 6685 Meridian Road N.E. Call 503-873-9800 for information.
