Teen earns Volunteer of Year award

Seventeen-year-old Karina Padilla was named Silverton Together’s Volunteer of the Year, the first time a youth has received the honor. Karina has volunteered for years for Silverton Together in many different events and fundraisers.

The other awardees were Sam Sloper, Adult Volunteer of the Year, Zeniff Women, Organization of the Year; City of Silverton,  Business of the Year. The awards event was sponsored by Silverton Hospital.
