SHS Homecoming

Silverton High School students invite the community to celebrate the 2008 Homecoming from Oct. 21 to 24. Students are eager to celebrate a week of festivities, including the Homecoming Dance with a Hollywood theme and dress-up days as cowboys, Hollywood stars, animals from movies and black and orange. 

Students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade are invited to the Future Fox event from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 24 in the SHS Multi-Purpose room before the football game. Students must be accompanied by an adult and are asked to bring a T-shirt to decorate. There will be several fun activities.

The football game against Lebanon is at 7 p.m. with the crowning of the Homecoming Queen and King taking place at halftime.

The Senior Homecoming Court is Justin Wells, Jeffrey Koenig, Luke Ferguson and Jose Salazar and Darcy Bull, Alice Atsma, Katherine Schmidt and Diana Delgado. The Junior court is Greg Fennimore and Hannah Tappan, the Sophomores are Trevor James Finch and J’Nyssa Baker, and the Freshmen are Raven Herring and Jane Kitts.

The Homecoming Dance is 8-11:30 p.m. Oct. 25 at Silverton High School.
