Bird, wildflower weekend

Silver Falls State Park and the Friends of Silver Falls invite all to the 30th annual Mother’s Day Birding and Wildflower Weekend from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 9 and 10 in the South Falls Day-Use area.

All walks and presentations are free, but advance registration is required for some activities as space is limited.  To register for select walks and classes, the photo hike, and the Friday Owl Prowl call Dorothy Brown-Kwaiser at 503-874-0201 or email [email protected]. The events schedule is at oregonstateparks.org/ park_211.php Admission is free; however, the $3 per vehicle parking fee will be in effect.
