Future Foxes Football restructures administration

The 2012 Future Foxes Football program is heading in an “exciting, new direction,” President Curtis Stultz wrote supporters. “These changes will help make the 2012 season more safe and enjoyable for all participants and their families.”

The responsibilities between the MidValley Pop Warner League and Future Foxes Football/Pop Warner have been restructured.

MidValley Pop Warner will administer game schedules and officials, conflict resolution between associations and manage PPK and Big Smash events.  Future Foxes Football board members will handle all other issues involving players and parents.

“This will ensure that all communication from families registered with Future Foxes will be handled in our community at the association level from registration all the way thru gear turn-in,” Stultz said.

FFF board members are Jim McIntire, Michelle Kuenzi, Erica Rumpca, Wes Kuenzi and Melissa Gubbles with members at large being Chuck White, Jim Hobbs, Owen Von Flue, John Mannion, John Kuenzi, Don McIntire and Larry Ward

Future Foxes Football players are invited to register Tuesday, May 22, 6 to 8 p.m.  at Silverton High School, 1456 Pine St.

Players are required to be present at registration for weigh-ins and fitting for gear. Parents should bring their child’s state-issued birth certificate.  Forms can be downloaded at futurefoxesfootball.org prior to attending registration. There is no online registration this year.

Stultz said the changes were made to help make the participants safer, hold costs down and reduce the burden of travel.

For information on the changes, visit the Future Foxes Football facebook page at Future Foxes Pop Warner or its new website at www.futurefoxesfootball.org. Parents and guardians with questions are encouraged to send an email to [email protected].
