Music lovers – especially those who enjoy big bands – should mark their calendar for Saturday, April 21 when music will fill the as the Marion County Citizens Band hosts the third annual Mid-Valley Community Band Festival.
The band members don’t get paid to play – they do it strictly for fun. And most band members wouldn’t miss Monday night rehearsals without a serious excuse. What the Marion County Citizens’ Band does do is play great music.
Music will dance in the air Saturday, May 1, as the Marion County Citizens Band hosts the first Mid-Willamette Valley Community Band Festival at Silverton High School, 1456 Pine St.
