Home-makers: Helpers sought

The North Willamette Valley Habitat for Humanity recently announced its first Women Build project. Women and men are invited to construct a home with the Seledkov family. The house will be built in Silverton at the Huddart Hills subdivision on Ike Mooney Road.

Anyone interested in helping build the home is invited to attend a Women Build informational meeting at 6:30 p.m. April 16 at the Silverton First Christian Church, 402 N. First St.

The groundbreaking is at 2 p.m. April 26 at 4387 Ike Mooney Road.

There are many ways to help with the project including purchasing a building block, giving funds or providing support on building days. For information on the Women Build, contact  call 503-845-2434.

Imagine No Hunger in Silverton
