Collecting warm wear for kids

New or “gently used” coats, hats, gloves, mittens and scarves are being collected for families in need. They will be given to local children, through high school. All sizes are needed. Donations may be dropped off through Oct. 24 at: Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1159 Oak St.; Silverton Together, 421 S. Water St.; Silver Falls Library, 410 S. Water St.; Les Schwab Tires, 911 N. First St.; Butte Creek School, 37569 S. Hwy. 213; and Coté Chiropractic, 215 West C St. Many churches, groups and schools are also collecting coats as part of this effort.
