Good cheer: Many events bring people together to celebrate the holidays

From the Hazelnut Festival in Mount Angel to Santa’s Workshop at The Oregon Garden, from the Christmas tree lighting in downtown Silverton to the Celebration of Families and the Angel of Hope gathering, December is a time of year when what it means to be a community comes forth.
