Frank Lloyd Wright’s Birthday Event at the Gordon House

On Saturday, June 10, the Gordon House is celebrating Frank Lloyd Wright’s birthday with an open house from 11am to 3pm.

Visitors can take self-guided tours of the Usonian home for the special price of $5 per adult. Entry for visitors under the age of 18 years is free. The house is located at 869 W Main Street, in Silverton. 

Tour guides will be on hand to tell stories and answer questions about this unique house, which was built in 1964, and is Wright’s only building in Oregon. The Gordon House was saved from demolition and moved to Silverton in 2002 to be open to the public, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
