Eldon was born in Eureka, California to Gunnar and Mayme Johnson. He graduated from Eureka Senior High School and worked most of his life in the lumber and building supply business.

Eldon received spiritual fellowship and blessings from his friends and pastor in Silverton Friends Church.

Eldon is survived by his brothers, Linwood and Gordon, and their families, also by his daughter, Tish Kristina Smith and her five children.

Eldon especially loved camping in his little teardrop trailer with his dog companion, Makenzie, and meeting new friends, and also working on classic cars. He had a special bond with his granddaughter, Rebecca, and his grandniece, Sara.

The family wishes to thank Eldon’s friends Bob, Wendy and Chuck for all their loving help in Eldon’s last days.
