A core trait in our towns is that neighbors care and share. With the economy down and the jobless rate up, residents are jumping into action to assist others.

Picking projects: Teen crews set out to help community

The youth of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Silverton have decided to give back to both the overall community and to the church by providing helpful services. On Jan. 10 about 15 teenagers will break into work crews to complete several projects.
