Evergreen Elementary School sixth-grade student Jacob Stutzman hasn’t bombarded his parents with requests for Christmas presents. After visiting Ethiopia with his parents, Adam and Amber in November, Jacob returned to Silverton grateful for everything he has.

International adoption: Myers family adds little boy from China

The first months of the toddler’s life could be described as a tragedy. Wrapped in a blanket, the boy was left near a police station in the Guan region of China. He was born Aug. 6, 2008, the first day of the 2008 Summer Olympics.
