Jazzercise benefits SACA

Silverton Jazzercise will hold its 29th Thanksgiving benefit for Silverton Area Community Aid this year.

Thursday, Nov. 22, 9 a.m. all fitness levels are invited to join in an hour-long aerobic and muscle toning session at the Silverton Community Center, 421 S. Water St.  Admission is $5 or three food items. Proceeds go to the SACA food bank.

“This class has become a real community tradition. The energy in the Community Center gym is always phenomenal. It’s a great way to do something good for the community while being thankful for healthy bodies,” Andi Morgan, Silverton Jazzercise instructor, said.

Donors have pledged additional contributions based on the number who attend.  “We need as many participants as possible to really take advantage of these donors’ generosity.”  Others have pledged to match the day’s cash receipts.
