Shiela McAllister April 28, 1941 – March 24, 2018

Shiela McAllister, 76. of Molalla, Oregon died March 24, 2018 at her home. Shiela was born in Oregon and spent the bulk of her life near Molalla.  She was the oldest daughter of Evine and Walter Ellison. Shiela was a graduate of Molalla High School, and attended Concordia Portland, as well as what was then known as Western Business School where she received a degree.  She worked for many Oregon firms throughout her career, spending most of her work life at Willamette Egg Farms.

Shiela was a charter member of Grace Lutheran Church, and was active in many church activities and events over the years.

In addition to frequent trips to the beach, Shiela loved the whimsical and fun. Like her mother, she was a gracious giver of gifts and served up hospitality. The coffee pot was always on, and a snack was always to be had at her home.

Shiela is survived by her son Walter, daughter Ann, grandchildren John, Evine and Kjersti and two great-grandchildren, Zayne and June. She had many nieces and nephews who meant a great deal to her, as well as many cousins and friends that were the focus of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Carol Lee.

Shiela is interred at Miller Cemetery.
A celebration of Shiela’s life was held on Friday, April 13 at Grace Lutheran Church of Molalla. The humor of that date would not be lost on her.
