Mount Angel candidates forum
Mount Angel voters are invited to meet the candidates for the Mount Angel City Council, House District 18, and Marion County Commissioner, plus hear speakers on Ballot Measure 91, the Oregon Legalized Marijuana Initiative Tuesday, Oct. 14, 7 p.m. at the Mount Angel Library, 290 Charles St.

Silverton mayoral forum
On Friday, Oct. 10, the Silverton Chamber Forum Lunch will feature a program with mayoral candidates Stu Rasmussen and Rick Lewis. The lunch is 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Silverton Hospital Conference Room. The cost is $12 for members and $15 for non-members. Please RSVP by Oct. 8 to 503-873-5615.

Silverton council candidates forum
Both mayoral and city council candidates for the Silverton City Council will answer audience questions at the Silverton Chamber Candidates Forum Tuesday, Oct. 14, 6 – 8 p.m. at Silverton High School Theater, 1456 Pine St. Carl Sampson, an Our Town columnist, will be the moderator. The event is free, but a donation to Silverton Area Community Aid would be welcomed.
