Sharyn Lucille Leo Walman: July 19, 1941 – March 11, 2014

Sharyn L. Leo Walman, 72, of Prineville, Ore., passed away on March 11, 2014 in Bakersfield, Calif.

Sharyn was born in Davenport, Iowa on July 19, 1941. She moved to Monrovia, Calif. as a child and graduated from Monrovia High School in 1959.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and of the Elks Club. Sharyn was a business owner of several restaurants and bar establishments in Mount Angel, Cornelius and Canby.  She later retired to Prineville in 1999.

Sharyn is survived by her four children; Melissa (Bill) Cardoza of Bakersfield, California, Jerry (Cindy) Purbaugh of Canby, Kellie (Ted) Mann of Lake Oswego and Kim Shipp of Mount Angel. Eight grand-children; Ryan, Brittany, McKenzie, Payton, Stephen, Ryan, Mason and Emery.  One great grandchild; Bailey.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Optimal Hospice Care of Bakersfield for their support.
