Mount Angel names 2013 award winners

The Mount Angel Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2013 community award winners. They will be honored at February’s 31st annual First Citizen Banquet:

First Citizen – Dick Hoffer
Volunteer of the Year  – Thelma Bourbonnais
Business of the Year – Bochsler Hardware
Future First Citizens – Emily Schmidt and Blake Traeger

The awards banquet begins at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24 at the Mount Angel Festhalle. Tickets, $25, are available at the Mount Angel branches of Columbia, US or Wells Fargo banks or by calling 503-551-8498.  Stories on the honorees will be in the Feb. 15 Our Town Life.
