Children invited to audition for Robinson Crusoe

A rollicking adventure awaits a merry cast brave enough to meet the very hairy Frowny-Face Tribe, Oscar Octopus Octet,  Leonard the Leopard and of course, the hero himself – Robinson Crusoe.

Center Stage/Missoula Children’s Theatre invite children in second through eighth grade to audition for the play, Robinson Crusoe. Auditions are 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 17 at Silverton High School, 1456 Pine St. High school students are eligible to be assistant directors. Since everyone is auditioned the same time, no prepared audition material is necessary. It is crucial everyone is on time. There are more than 65 children’s parts in the show.

The tour actors will hold rehearsals throughout the week of June 17 – 21 with performances at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22 at Silverton High School. Tickets are available at Citizens Bank, Columbia Bank, Seven Brides Brewing and at the door. Community members are invited to attend this Silverton summer tradition. This is the 30th joint effort between the MCT and Center Stage, headed by Silverton attorney Don Kelley. For questions, call Kelley at 503-873-8671.

Ol’ time music: Grange Hall tour
