Benefit planned for Heidi Schindler

Despite everything Heidi Schindler has endured, she remains positive with an “I can do it” attitude. Schindler is paralyzed from the waist down after she crashed on her snowboard in January.

The “heidistrong 2010”  benefit is will raise funds for her medical bills and equipment. It begins at 6 p.m. June 5 at Bauman Farms.

A 2001 graduate of Silverton High School, Schindler lives with her parents as she learns how to “live in a new light.”
